The Walking Dead First Walker actress Addy Miller will star in a new horror film. Devil’s tree is reportedly in post-production now, but no release date has been announced.

Miller is an icon in The walking dead fandom by being the first female walker to appear in Season 1, Episode 1. Affectionately known as Teddy Bear Walker, her character name was actually Summer. She was the first walker to be killed by Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), and the fact that she was a kid showed viewers that this was going to be one hell of a show.

She was brought back for the 100th episode, which was kept a secret from everyone. Greg Nicotero, EP, director and SFX for the series, thought it would be a pleasant surprise.

Joshua Petrino is directing the film and executive producers are Felicia Michaels, Doug Tubach, Mark Riccadonna, Mike Saga and Howard Smith, with special effects by Angie Elwell.

Jonathan Davis of the Korn group will play The Pet, who is the villain of the film. Nick Principe who played a slasher in Rests and ChromeSkull. The film also stars Bryan Manley Davis, Sylvie Preston, Carolina Hidalgo, Mark Riccadonna, Paul Pawlowski, Jason W. Pollock, Mike Jacobs.

Miller will play a character named Allison, but nothing else is known about the character.

A group of friends visit a tree that is said to be a gateway to hell. Soon after, they throw a little party where none of them can mentally bring themselves to leave. Then a supernatural killer with a sadistic sense of humor begins to torment and slaughter the group.
