Realme X7 Max 5G, Android 4K TVs with Dolby Cinema to launch in India on May 31
Realme will launch the X7 Max 5G and all new smart TVs in India on May 31. In the media invitations sent out, Realme revealed that the X7 Max 5G will be India’s first Dimensity 1200 powered phone, while this year’s TVs will focus on Dolby Cinema, which means both Dolby Atmos for better sound experience. and Dolby Vision for enhanced HDR. These TVs will be available in two sizes, 43 inches and 50 inches, and with that Realme will have TVs in different sizes. Last year we saw 32-inch, 43-inch, and 55-inch smart TVs from Realme, all running Android TVs.
In the invitation, Realme also hinted at the announcement regarding the new ‘tech lifestyle’ brand that the company has long been teasing. And this brand is for AIoT products that will work with smartphones. Think of it as an umbrella for Realme products that will work together as a whole, much like Samsung has.
Realme X7 Max 5G, 4K Smart TV launch event
Realme will host the X7 Max 5G and New TVs launch event at 12:30 p.m. on May 31. It will be a digital-only event, of course. And Realme will be announcing everything related to the new phone and TVs at this upcoming event.
Realme X7 Max 5G Specifications
Realme has already confirmed that the X7 Max will be powered by the Dimensity 1200 processor inside. Realme previously posted AnTuTu benchmark scores for the Dimensity 1200 processor, which are above 700,600, which is pretty good for a high-end phone. Realme has yet to talk about the price but it is likely that the X7 Max 5G will be positioned in the mid-range.
Additionally, Realme has also teased the Asphalt 9: Legends game on the X7 Max 5G, but it’s not clear if there will be some sort of partnership between the two brands for the X7 Max 5G. If that turns out to be true, Realme will likely present the X7 Max as a gaming phone, although initially Realme touted its first Dimensity 1200-powered phone, GT Neo, as camera-centric.
Some rumors suggest that the X7 Max 5G is nothing more than a rebranded GT Neo that Realme is launching in India. While Realme X7 Max 5G is a renowned GT Neo, specs can include up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. And if you want more storage, you can add a microSD card to this phone. It runs Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11. There may be a 4500mAh battery on the X7 Max 5G with support for 50W fast charging. The phone will sport a Full-HD + Super AMOLED display of 6, 43 inch with support for refresh rate up to 120Hz. As for photography, you can have 64 megapixel main Sony IMX682 sensor, 8 megapixel ultra wide angle sensor and macro sensor 2 megapixel camera on the back. For selfies, the new phone can sport a 32-megapixel front-facing camera in a punch-hole configuration.
What to expect from Realme Smart TV 4K
Realme has confirmed that there will be two sizes for the next smart TV; 43 inches and 50 inches. Last year, the 43-inch TV supported a maximum resolution of 1080p when there was no 50-inch model. Realme released the 55-inch model with 4K later, however. This year’s TV models will all support 4K, starting at 1080p resolution. This will particularly widen the assortment now, with obviously a slight price difference between the two 43-inch models.
The two new Realme TV models will feature Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. The latter will be supported on the TV speakers, but if you plug in a speaker set or soundbar system that supports Dolby Atmos, your sound experience will be much better. And Dolby Vision on a TV means you can watch most content in good HDR quality. There is a good range of Netflix shows and movies with Dolby Vision that you can watch on these newer TVs.
