New movies to watch this weekend on Netflix, AMC + and in theaters

If you’re wondering what to watch this weekend, here’s the list of movies you should check out on Netflix, AMC +, and in theaters.

The power of the dog

The film revolves around two brothers – Phil and George (played by Benedict Cumberbatch and Jesse Plemons) – who own a ranch in Montana. The peace between the brothers is disturbed when George marries a woman named Rose, played by actress Kirsten Dunst.

“The Power of the Dog” is directed by Jane Campion and based on the book of the same name by Thomas Savage. The film is streaming on Netflix and is also available in theaters.

Single until the end

Can’t wait to watch a holiday-themed romantic comedy? Then “Single All the Way” is a perfect choice for you. The film is directed by Michael Mayer and the screenplay is written by Chad Hodge.

“Single All The Way” is about a single man who asks his friend to act as his love interest in front of his family because he is afraid they will judge him. The film is available to stream on Netflix.

Mixing

Another comedy film on the list, “Mixtape,” is streaming on Netflix. The film is set in 1999, when a 12-year-old girl finds a broken mixtape, which was created by her late parents, and learns more about it.

The film is directed by Valerie Weiss. It stars Julie Bowen, Nick Thune, Audrey Hsieh and Olga Petsa.

Silent night

“Silent Night” is a horror-themed holiday movie, where a couple invite their best friends over for Christmas dinner, but things get out of hand when the destruction begins. The film is directed by Camille Griffin and stars Roman Griffin Davis, Keira Knightley, Lily-Rose Depp, Matthew Goode, Annabelle Wallis and Lucy Punch. “Silent Night” is available on AMC + and in theaters.

Wolf

The film revolves around a man who believes he is a wolf as he sleeps, lives and eats like a wolf. The story takes place when the man is sent to several therapies and meets the mysterious Wildcat. The film is directed by Nathalie Biancheri and it is exclusively available in theaters.
