My hero university brings a special insight into the Mission of the heroes of the world movie at New York Comic Con next month! The third feature film in the franchise made its official debut in Japan earlier this summer, but fans outside of Japan were waiting for their chance to check it out for themselves. Surprisingly, it was quickly revealed that Funimation would also be bringing the new film to the United States just months after its debut in Japan. Now, ahead of its theatrical release next month, fans of New York Comic Con will be treated to a special preview!

Official listings for panels at New York Comic Con have announced that Funimation will be hosting a special panel for My Hero Academia: Mission of the Heroes of the World Friday October 8 in the presence of members of the cast and English staff. They describe the upcoming panel in these terms: “Your look at the next chapter in the global anime phenomenon begins here. Presented by Funimation, the panel includes an exclusive preview of My Hero Academia: Mission of the Heroes of the World. Hear from the cast and voice over crew before the film hits theaters on October 29! ”

Luckily for anyone who can’t attend the panel, it won’t be much longer before the film hits the market as My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission hits theaters on October 29 in the US, Canada, in the UK and Ireland. Fans in Australia or New Zealand will be able to check it out a day earlier on October 28. The film is officially described as such:

“In My Hero Academia: Mission of the Heroes of the World, UA High School students Izuku Midoriya, Shoto Todoroki and Katsuki Bakugo face the biggest crisis in My Hero Academia history, with just two hours to save the world! During their internship with number one agency Pro Hero Endeavor, Deku and his new friend Rody find themselves wanted across the country for a crime they didn’t commit. Can Deku and his friends stop Humarise’s worldwide plans to eliminate all Quirks? ”

Are you excited for My Hero Academia: Mission of the Heroes of the World to hit theaters next month? If you are attending New York Comic Con, will you be looking for this panel?
