Digital Cinema Society and Atomic Studios Host Live Educational Event | Chicago coil

With the safety and success of their first in-person post-pandemic event last month in Los Angeles, the Digital cinema company took their show on the road and scheduled a DCS Chicago event at Atomic studios
The free event features Infinity Photo-Optical Lenses – Blackmagic URSA 12K – DaVinci Resolve – OWC. RSVPs are required and Covid security protocols will be observed.
The in-person event will take place at the Atomic Studios on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The program will include live demos of:
* Infinity photo-optical lenses providing unique perspectives for
Micro / macro table photography
* Blackmagic URSA MiniPro 12K Camera
* DaVinci Resolve high resolution workflows and new features of
DaVinci Resolve v17.4 presented by Ari Golan
* New storage and workflow products from OWC that help make
high resolution workflows possible.

There will also be a screening of a short demo photographed by filmmakers. Bill bennett, ASC, James mather, and Cameron Canon as well as behind-the-scenes coverage as they became more familiar with the Infinity Micro / Maco lenses. Jay Margolis, the inventor and CEO of Infinity Lenses will also be on hand to explain the science behind these unique lenses and to answer technical questions. We will also be showing a short piece produced by DCS highlighting the advantages and challenges of shooting in 12K.

Refreshments will be provided and valuable door prizes will be drawn from participants. This event is free and open to everyone, but RSVPs are required and Covid security protocols will be observed. Please feel free to share this invitation with others.
