Bullet Train’s Brian Tyree Henry Hilariously Recalls Being Distracted By Brad Pitt’s ‘Gorgeous’ Blonde Hair During Filming
SPOILER WARNING: Not so fast! This article contains major spoilers for the film. High-speed train. If you haven’t seen the movie, be careful!
Full of secular British sass and creative violence that rivals any of Guy Ritchie’s action movies, High-speed train apparently has a lot of potential distraction points for those who worked on the film. As for one of the film’s stars, Brian Tyree Henry, however, it was his co-star Brad Pitt who was the source of a hilarious distraction, and it wasn’t. that skirt he wore High-speed trainis the first. Apparently, Pitt’s sandy locks were the source of a wonder for the High-speed train castand I completely understand.
Although you wouldn’t expect Brad Pitt’s hair to be such a distraction just by looking at it. the movie’s disgusting trailerwhere it’s misplaced under a bucket hat for the majority, but that long mop of hair sees some serious action in High-speed train. There’s one scene in particular where those golden strands attached to the A-Listers’ heads stole the show, and I’m totally talking about that slow-motion train wreck scene.
Admittedly, I may have drooled a bit seeing Brad Pitt flying through the air in slow motion, but apparently Brian Tyree Henry was also struggling to contain himself while filming the scene. In an exclusive interview with comics, Henry explains that seeing Pitt’s hair look so perfect in the crash scene almost made him want to punch the actor in the face. Here it is, in his own words:
Looks like Brian Tyree Henry has a real love/hate relationship with Brad Pitt’s hair. Honestly, it probably helped him get into character even more, because that’s kind of the relationship his character has with Pitt’s Ladybug. The two go back and forth with each other, having a friendly enemy-type relationship, which is quite interesting in a similar way to how Henry talks about his feelings regarding Pitt’s long locks.
100% Brad Pitt hair should have had its own credits. Sandy locks must have at least been written into the script, as they changed frequently from scene to scene and were a decent part of Pitt’s personality throughout the movie. There’s a scene in which he puts his hair up to really and deliberately get into the action, and the visual change of him wearing his bucket hat to Pitt in full combat mode is sure to be disarming.
The character of Brain Tyree Henry was not without charm, however. His obsession with Thomas the Tank Engine and the reaction it garnered with the other characters was equal, if not superior, to Brad Pitt’s lavish mop of hair.
If you haven’t seen the movie yet and this all seems a bit strange to you, I completely understand. High-speed train is a strange mix of characters with action and humor that critics seemed to have mixed feelings aboutand that we have to say it’s a lot of chaotic fun. High-speed train unlike any of its peers new release movies of 2022and you can check it out and Brad Pitt’s distracting hair for yourself in theaters now.
